Discord Tasks (Trello Power-Up) & Trello Tasks Bot (Discord) · https://trellobot.hejapp.com · Last updated: March 2026
By installing the Trello Tasks Power-Up, adding the Discord bot to your server, or otherwise using any part of this service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Discord Tasks (Trello Power-Up) and Trello Tasks Bot (Discord bot) together form an integration that allows Discord server members to create Trello cards and manage subtasks directly from Discord. Core features include:
/task slash command, including optional file attachments forwarded to the corresponding Trello card/move list:<list name> inside a threadThe Service is operated by Maximilian Krisch, Germany (support-trellopowerup@hejapp.com).
To use this Service you must:
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The Service requires you to grant OAuth authorization to both your Trello and Discord accounts. By doing so:
/task command's attachment option to the Trello API, where they are stored as card attachments on your Trello board under your Trello account. You are responsible for keeping your Trello and Discord accounts secure. You can revoke these authorizations at any time from the Power-Up settings page. Revoking Trello access also instructs Trello to invalidate the token on their side.
/task slash commands in the configured channel, and replies posted inside task threads it created. It does not monitor other channels, private messages, or voice channels.
The Service may be made available without paid subscription plans. In that configuration the Service is free to use without card or board limits. The settings panel may display a voluntary support link ("Buy me a coffee") — any contribution made through that link is entirely voluntary, confers no additional rights or features, and is processed by an independent third-party platform. We are not a party to that transaction.
Where paid subscription plans are offered, a free tier is available at no charge with the following default limits: up to 20 Trello cards created via the bot per month and 1 active board connection per Trello account. Limits are applied per Trello account — connecting the same Trello account to multiple Discord servers does not multiply your allowance. Current limits are always shown in the Power-Up settings. Free-tier limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Optional paid subscription plans may be available that increase card creation limits and the number of boards you can connect. Current plan details and pricing are shown in the Power-Up settings when you choose to upgrade.
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means:
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will revert to the free tier. No partial refunds are issued for unused time unless required by applicable law or Paddle's buyer protection policy.
If you have an active paid subscription, you must cancel it through the billing portal before deleting your account — account deletion is blocked while a subscription is active. Once your subscription has ended or you are on the free tier, you can permanently delete all stored data using the Delete Account button in the Power-Up settings.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
/task command that contain malware, illegal content, material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, or any content prohibited under applicable law. You bear sole responsibility for the content of any files you transmit through the Service. The Service acts solely as a conduit and does not inspect, store, or take responsibility for the content of transmitted attachments. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates this section. The timing and manner of any suspension or termination will be proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation and subject to applicable law.
We aim to keep the Service available and running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided as-is, and we may:
The Service depends on the availability and API stability of third-party services (Discord and Trello). Disruptions caused by those platforms are outside our control.
The Service integrates with and depends on the following third-party platforms:
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or availability of these third-party services. Changes to their APIs or terms that affect this Service's functionality are outside our control.
The Service, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Maximilian Krisch. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights over the Service.
You retain full ownership of the content you create — including Trello cards, card descriptions, and checklist items — which are stored in your own Trello account. We do not claim any rights over your content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maximilian Krisch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under German law.
You may stop using the Service for a specific board at any time. There are two ways to do this, with different effects on your stored data:
To erase all data across every board, use the Delete Account button in the Power-Up settings.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, without prior notice, if:
A suspension blocks access to all Power-Up features (creating cards, syncing threads, changing settings). Your stored data — board configurations, task mappings, and OAuth tokens — is preserved while your account is suspended. Suspended accounts retain access to the billing portal so you can cancel any active paid subscription. If you believe a suspension was applied in error, contact support-trellopowerup@hejapp.com.
A permanent account deletion by the administrator immediately and irreversibly erases all configuration data, task mappings, OAuth tokens, and subscription records. Following deletion, a minimal enforcement record (your opaque Trello member ID, deletion date, and reason) is retained to prevent the same account from being immediately re-registered. See the Privacy Policy §2.6 for full details on this retention.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law in your country of residence that cannot be derogated from by contract.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for consumers: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in ADR proceedings, but we are always happy to resolve issues directly via email.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice — typically at least 14 days — via a notice in the Power-Up settings panel.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
